On Friday, June 14th, over 90 guests joined us at The Verve Crowne Plaza Hotel in Natick to celebrate the 1st Annual “A Toast to Progress” fundraising event. Guests enjoyed cocktails, hor d’oeuvres, networking and an extensive raffle. Everyone also enjoyed hearing from RCS leadership, Denise Rizzo and Christina Boyd-Pickard, and shared in the exciting premiere of the corporate profile filmed back in February by In Focus by Martin Sheen. Daria Gere, parent of RCS student, Julian also shared her touching story about Julian, her family and their love for and success at RCS.
The evening was a wonderful time for reflection on the great accomplishments and successes of our students, our staff and our organization since opening in 2006, as well as a great time for all of us to look forward to RCS’ bright future. With the support of our wonderful sponsors, our guests and many others, the event raised almost $3,000 to directly benefit RCS Learning Center!
We cannot wait for the 2nd Annual “A Toast to Progress” in 2014 and hope to raise even more money and celebrate with more family and friends next year!
