The message behind our theme

What do we mean by Celebrating All Children?

At RCS we believe the most impactful way to empower individuals is through unconditional acceptance. While we’ve made many wonderful strides as a community to increase critical support, students with autism and their families still face the daily challenge of navigating a world that isn’t 100% inclusive. That’s why this year our annual theme is Celebrating all children: Acceptance. Alliance. Inclusion.

Beyond spreading awareness, our goal is to create opportunities for our community to ally with and include individuals on the Autism spectrum. These efforts will bring us even closer to the goals we all work towards every day: providing services that encompass each individual’s unique needs and experience in a way that leads to their independence and success.

Will you support children with autism during Autism Awareness Month?

We’re asking our community to help us raise $3,000 this April.

Make a difference for a child with Autism. Approximately 1 in 44 children are diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), most likely affecting someone you know in your life. That is why it is so important not only to build awareness and strive for acceptance, but go BEYOND awareness and take actionable steps in improving opportunities and appreciation for individuals with autism and their families. And it is easier to do than you may think.  April is National Autism Awareness Month, making it the perfect time to support RCS Learning Center in our effort to deepen our impact on our students and community!
